An Intern is responsible for assisting in the preparation, coordination and monitoring of the documentation required for the implementation, execution and completion of a job.

· Working knowledge of industry terminology and possess the ability to thoroughly read a set of construction plans and specifications

Summary
Duties:
· Participation and application of Quiring’s Safety Plan to constantly maintain injury-free environments
· Know, Understand, and learn the company’s mission statement and values
· Provide overall project support while gaining experience beneficial to your college education
· Assist with developing daily safety reports in conjunction with superintendent
· Performs daily jobsite walks with the superintendent, evaluating production, crew sizes and safety
· Assists in the development of RFIs prior to issuance to the architect
· Assists in processing all RFI responses and posts to plans accordingly
· Assists in the review and processing of submittals in accordance with the contract documents
· Assist project superintendent in the development and distribution of the three week “look ahead” schedules
· Assists project superintendent with correspondence or other follow-up as agreed.
· Assists in monitoring as-built drawing progress in conjunction with the project superintendent and project administrator.
