Job Category

QuinStreet is seeking recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields for a paid, full-time 3-month contract onsite role on our Financial Services team - Insurance. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience building a first-generation, scalable enterprise application. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and other junior developers in an agile environment to deliver a new platform from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain core features of a new software platform
Leverage AI implementations.
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code across front-end and back-end systems
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
Contribute to testing, debugging, and quality assurance efforts
Integrate with third-party APIs and troubleshoot any integration challenges

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (completed within the past 12 months)
Solid understanding of software development fundamentals and AI
Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js
Experience or interest in backend languages and environments such as Java, .NET, PHP, or Python
Exposure to CI/CD tools and testing frameworks is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Eagerness to grow and contribute in a fast-paced development team

The expected hourly range for this position is $30 an hour USD. This hourly range is an estimate, and the actual hourly rate may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The hourly rate may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits.
