Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced APTOS / APTOSOne Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a functional expert, collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive successful implementations of APTOS solutions. This role involves conducting detailed requirements analysis, functional configuration, stakeholder communication, and supporting retail transformation projects end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business process analysis, gather requirements, and document functional specifications.
• Configure and implement APTOSOne retail systems tailored to client-specific needs.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
• Participate in design workshops and review solution designs with stakeholders.
• Provide user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, development, and project management.
• Manage issue resolution during UAT and production phases.
• Identify areas for process improvements and contribute to best practices documentation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of APTOSOne Retail Suite (Merchandising, Store, CRM, Promotions, etc.)
• Functional understanding of APTOS POS, Merchandise Lifecycle Management, and Inventory Management modules
• Experience with system integration concepts including APIs, Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, and JSON
• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction, validation, and functional testing
• Understanding of ERP integration workflows and third-party retail systems
• Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or other ITSM tools
• Ability to work within Agile or Waterfall project delivery frameworks
• Basic understanding of version control tools like Git (optional but beneficial)
• Exposure to cloud-based retail platforms or middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.) is a plus
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 38 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in retail technology, ideally with APTOSOne
• Deep understanding of retail business processes and challenges
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in conducting functional testing and supporting UAT
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with the APTOSOne platform or other leading retail ERP systems
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools
• Certification in retail systems or business analysis (CBAP, APTOS certifications, etc.)
• Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills
• Mentoring or team lead experience is a plus
