What You Will Do
• Explore literature and datasets for a target disease. Build clean datasets supporting target discovery and development.
• Prototype scoring algorithms in Python. Start in reproducible notebooks.
• Run experiments comparing models. Version track with Git.
• Wire basic retrieval and processing workflows for antibody development.
• Package work, build and ship in isolated environment for application design.
• Optional project paths.
o ML and computational biology. Feature engineering and model baselines.
o Bioinformatics and assay data. Data cleaning, QC, and visualization.
o Research tools and lightweight packages for the QuickBind UI.
What You Will Learn
• How AI and structure aware methods support antibody design.
• How data flows from discovery to a real-world rapid test.
• How to design assays and validate for lateral flow formats.
• How to scope a research question and ship a small project in an early stage startup.
