Role Purpose:
The Finance Manager is responsible for driving financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and analytics for the Youth Program. The role supports strategic decision-making through accurate financial insights, ensures compliance with donor and organizational requirements, and enables efficient financial operations through strong stakeholder coordination, systems management, and process oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting
Lead monthly MIS, budget variance analysis, and quarterly/annual financial reporting.
Analyze financial performance, trends, and key cost drivers to support strategic decision-making.
Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgeting benchmarks for programs and projects.
Prepare financial presentations, management reports, and donor utilization reports.
2. Budgeting, Compliance & Audit Support
Support annual budgeting and operational planning with program and finance leadership.
Manage salary allocations, payroll finalization, and project cost center allocations.
Ensure timely bank and credit card reconciliations and accurate financial documentation.
Support donor audits, statutory audits, and annual account finalization.
3. Financial Operations & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the primary finance point of contact for the Program teams.
Coordinate procurement, travel requests, vendor payments, and invoice processing.
Provide guidance on QuickBooks, ATLAS FMS, project allocations, and finance processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely financial support and compliance.
4. Systems, Processes & Governance
Maintain donor and organizational budget structures across finance systems.
Review financial transactions and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Adhere to organizational finance, HR, and governance policies and uphold organizational values.
5. Team Contribution & Continuous Learning
Participate in management reviews, appraisal processes, and organizational reporting.
Take ownership of professional development and contribute to team learning and capability building.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and MIS preparation.
Hands-on experience with accounting and finance tools such as QuickBooks, ATLAS FMS, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and payroll systems.
Knowledge of Indian non-profit sector donor compliance, grant utilization reporting, audit processes, bank reconciliation, and financial documentation standards.
Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage high-volume workflows with accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
Commitment to continuous learning, feedback, and knowledge-sharing within teams.

Salary:
The pay band for the position is Rs. 60,000 per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
