About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
Install, configure, and update computer systems and networks.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users in person, via email, or over the phone.
Monitor system performance and ensure the security and stability of all IT systems.
Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and implement solutions.
Manage IT documentation, including system configurations and network diagrams.
Ensure the proper backup and recovery of systems and data.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of company's IT projects and infrastructure.
Participate in IT-related projects, upgrades, and system enhancements.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and macOS.
Experience with server management, storage solutions, and cloud services.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Experience with network security and firewalls.
