Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) with 3–8 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out and PMC projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in BOQ preparation, tendering, quantity estimation, cost control, billing, invoice verification, and overall quantity surveying activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and project specifications.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and estimate material, labor, and project costs.
- Prepare tender documents, floating enquiries, comparative statements, and assist in vendor evaluation.
- Review and verify contractor invoices, RA bills, and final bills as per contract terms.
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Analyze variations, change orders, and additional work claims.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams for quantity-related matters.
- Prepare cost reports, budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and project cost analysis.
- Assist in contract administration, documentation, and commercial correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor quotations and technical-commercial comparisons.
- Maintain accurate project records, measurements, and quantity reconciliation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Interior Fit-Out and PMC projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, tendering, billing, and cost management.
- Experience in handling contractor invoices, RA bills, and final account settlements.
- Good understanding of contracts, project costing, and commercial management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity estimation software.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
