Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor Manager to lead cost and contract management activities for a major industrial construction project. The role requires hands-on expertise in project cost control, commercial management, and contractual compliance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage total project cost planning, budgeting, and cost optimization activities.
Prepare BOQ, estimates, rate analysis, and quantity take-off from drawings.
Monitor material consumption, site work progress, and verify subcontractor bills.
Evaluate and negotiate tenders, vendor pricing, and contractual terms.
Prepare monthly cost reports, MIS, cash flow, and financial forecasts.
Handle contract administration, claim management, and change orders.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients ensuring timely execution.
Conduct risk analysis to control cost overruns and track cost variations.
Maintain updated project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.
Oversee procurement planning and ensure adherence to budgets.
Lead QS team, assign tasks, and ensure timely deliverables.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of industrial construction standards and Foxconn project requirements
Expertise in cost management tools (MS Excel, SAP, CCS, AutoCAD, MSP/Primavera)
Strong negotiation & communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work under tight timelines with leadership qualities
