■ About the Role
Sparrow Shopfits is hiring a Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer to lead cost estimation, BOQ analysis, tender submissions, RA billing, and commercial coordination for retail fit-out projects.
This role requires a commercially strong professional who can ensure accurate project costing, strong billing discipline, and margin protection across turnkey and PMC projects.
■ Key Responsibilities
Core Commercial & Estimation Leadership
• Prepare and analyse BOQs for retail fit-out projects
• Conduct detailed rate analysis for materials and labour
• Develop competitive and profitable cost sheets
• Prepare PMC, design, and turnkey proposals
• Maintain and update standard rate cards
Billing & Site Coordination
• Prepare RA Bills and client billing documentation
• Verify measurements and quantities through site coordination
• Track variation orders and additional scope items
• Coordinate with site, project, and procurement teams
Contracts & Tendering
• Draft and review LOIs, contracts & SLA documents
• Submit tenders on platforms (CPP Portal, TenderNed, etc.)
• Support commercial negotiations with clients and vendors
• Ensure margin protection during finalization
■ Requirements
• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in Retail Fit-Out / Construction
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, measurements & rate analysis
• Experience in RA billing and variation handling
• Advanced Excel skills (Cost sheets, Pivot, Lookups)
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Ability to independently manage commercial control
