Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Survey & Billing Engineer to manage BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, vendor billing verification, cost estimation, and project commercial tracking across multiple construction projects.
The candidate will play a critical role in understanding actual development cost, monitoring vendor billing accuracy, and supporting project profitability through commercial control systems.
Qualifications
The candidate must have a B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in civil construction projects (residential, high rise) along with conversational fluency in Telugu. Men preferred due to the nature of the job and the industry domain.
Key Responsibilities
A. BOQ & Quantity Take-Off
1. Prepare detailed BOQs from drawings and site requirements.
2. Perform quantity take-offs for:
* Civil works
* Finishing works
* MEP works
* Interior works
* Infrastructure works
3. Verify quantities based on approved drawings and site execution.
B. Vendor Billing & Measurement
1. Verify contractor/vendor running bills and final bills.
2. Cross-check executed quantities before certification.
3. Conduct site measurements and prepare measurement sheets.
4. Ensure billing matches actual work completion.
C. Cost Estimation & Budgeting
1. Prepare project cost estimates and development budgets.
2. Conduct rate analysis for materials and labour.
3. Compare market rates and vendor quotations.
4. Monitor project cost vs budget.
D. Commercial Tracking
1. Track material consumption and execution quantities.
2. Prepare cost reports and billing summaries.
3. Support procurement team with quantity references.
4. Identify cost leakages and excess billing risks.
