Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor and Contract Manager, based in Chennai. The role involves preparing cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules for projects, as well as managing contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Responsibilities include conducting cost analysis, preparing tender documentation, negotiating with subcontractors, monitoring project expenditures, and providing advice on value engineering. The role also includes ensuring projects are completed within budget and timeline constraints.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for construction projects
- Expertise in contract administration, tender documentation, and legal compliance
- Strong analytical skills in cost analysis and value engineering
- Knowledge of construction management, project lifecycle, and industry standards
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, cost estimation software)
- Prior experience in real estate or construction is a plus
