Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity takeoff, Bill of Quantities, and cost estimates for residential/ commercial projects by accurately measuring and estimating items and quantities based on project specifications and drawings.
- As needed, conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and identify potential issues affecting costs
- Manage assigned tasks efficiently, working under guidance to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain self-discipline in managing daily work allocation and contribute positively to team efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying with hands-on experience with estimating tools (CostX, AutoCAD & MS Excel)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present cost data clearly to stakeholders.
