Job Summary:
Heaven Group is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity & Procurement Engineer to manage quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, material procurement, and cost control for infrastructure and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, negotiation skills, and experience in procurement and quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material estimates from drawings.
- Plan and execute procurement activities for construction materials and services.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare comparative statements.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track material deliveries.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor inventory and minimize material wastage.
- Verify vendor bills and coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
- Monitor project costs and ensure procurement is within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in quantity surveying and procurement within civil/infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and procurement processes.
- Good understanding of construction materials and market rates.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/Procurement software (preferred).
