9Point Capital is India's first digital assets management company, building systematic trading and market infrastructure across crypto derivatives, volatility trading, and quantitative research.
We are looking for a Quantitative Developer to work closely with our exchange and core infrastructure team — building research systems, execution tooling, analytics platforms, and automated trading infrastructure that power real trading decisions.
What You'll Work On
- Build quantitative systems powering our exchange and trading operations
- Develop options analytics, payoff engines, PoP calculations, and IV/skew/term structure tooling
- Build and maintain real-time market data pipelines across crypto exchanges
- Design and implement backtesting and strategy simulation systems
- Create APIs and infrastructure for strategy builders and analytics dashboards
- Integrate exchange, orderbook, and derivatives data from venues including Bybit, Binance, Deribit, and Hyperliquid
- Collaborate with traders and researchers to convert ideas into production-grade systems
- Work on execution analytics, slippage models, and risk tooling
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time systems
- Experience with pandas/numpy and data workflows
- Ability to work with large market datasets and trading data
- Strong logical thinking and first-principles problem-solving ability
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-ownership startup environment
Preferred
- Understanding of options, volatility, or derivatives
- Familiarity with crypto markets and exchange infrastructure
- Experience with FastAPI, Streamlit, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Docker, and Git
- Exposure to systematic trading or quantitative finance
- Interest in market microstructure and trading infrastructure
