Role Overview
We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst with a strong foundation in statistics and programming to support and improve our trading systems. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and trading.
You will work closely with trading and engineering teams to analyze market data, build models, and automate workflows that directly impact trading performance.
Key Responsibilities
Quantitative Analysis
- Analyze large scale market and trade data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities
- Build and validate statistical models to support trading strategies
- Perform exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing
Automation and Engineering
- Develop and maintain high performance scripts and tools using Python and C++
- Automate trade lifecycle processes including data validation, reconciliation, and reporting
- Work with exchange APIs to ensure reliable data flow and execution tracking
Data and Operations
- Monitor trading data, execution logs, and order flows to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identify operational bottlenecks and work with stakeholders to resolve them
- Support trading desks with data driven insights and analysis
System Reliability
- Track and resolve discrepancies in exchange data and API connectivity
- Ensure systems are robust in a 24 by 7 trading environment
Qualifications
Education
- Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is mandatory
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in quantitative analysis, trade operations, or a data intensive role
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python is required
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with APIs and handling real time data systems is preferred
Other Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high ownership environment
- Understanding of financial markets is a plus
