About QuantHub
At QuantHub, we're building the world's most hyper-tailored learning platform - one that meets every learner exactly where they are and equips them with the skills to thrive in a technology-driven world. Our mission is to democratize learning in the digital age by making education more effective, more efficient, and more human. We're a small, high-ownership team that moves fast, thinks critically, and genuinely cares about the impact of what we build.
The Role
We're looking for an Associate Learning Experiences Designer to join our curriculum team. This is not a traditional instructional design role - it sits at the intersection of visual design, interaction design, and educational content. Your job is to take completed learning modules and make them better: more engaging, more interactive, and more visually compelling - without losing what makes them educationally effective.
You'll work closely with our instructional designers and engineers, operating within a real component library and a real LMS environment. That means making smart design decisions under constraints, not in an ideal-world vacuum. If you thrive when you have clear boundaries and find creative ways to push within them, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Review completed learning modules and identify opportunities to enhance visual engagement and interactivity
- Process approximately 5 learning resources per day, diagnosing problems and recommending improvements using AI-integrated workflows
- Propose and implement visual enhancements using our existing component library: diagrams, images, video, audio, and interactive elements
- Translate pedagogical needs into interactive experiences that work within our LMS environment
- When a needed component doesn't exist, prototype the solution using illustrative or dead-code prototypes that clearly communicate design intent to the engineering team
- Evaluate the reusability and scalability of proposed components before bringing them to engineering
- Use AI-integrated prototyping tools to rapidly iterate and explore ideas
- Collaborate closely with instructional designers to maintain content integrity while improving engagement
- Participate in regular design reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of decisions over time
- Balance making content genuinely engaging without sacrificing educational value
What Success Looks Like Here
In this role, you'll know you're doing well when:
- You're consistently processing 5+ learning resources per day with minimal rework
- Learner engagement metrics on your modules hold steady or improve
- Engineers describe your specs as clear, feasible, and well-documented
- Instructional designers and engineers enjoy working with you
- You're bringing solutions - not just flagging problems
