Technical Program Manager- Cloud + Data Why We Have This Role At Qualtrics, we're on a mission to empower organizations to elevate their customer and employee experiences. With over 13,000+ clients worldwide, it's crucial to build well-localized, high-quality products that close operational gaps. This role is critical in orchestrating complex, cross-engineering initiatives to achieve our ambitious goals. You will partner with teams across IT, Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis, and more to streamline budgeting and vendor intake processes, enabling efficient onboarding of new technologies. As a key cross-functional leader within the Products, Engineering, and UX teams, you'll ensure budget compliance and drive enhancements to our bottom-line costs and profit margins. You'll collaborate across multiple disciplines to lead these large-scale projects to success. How You'll Find Success Strategic and Tactical Balance: Leverage your ability to see the big picture while effectively managing day-to-day operations. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to form and articulate points of view, ensuring that strategies are backed by solid evidence. Empathetic Leadership: Lead with empathy, providing support and mentorship to your colleagues. Communication Mastery: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work well with various departments like Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing. Project Management Expertise: Demonstrate a track record of managing and delivering large, complex software projects. Team Empowerment: Contribute to designing a sustainable operating model that empowers the entire TPM community within Qualtrics. Things You'll Do Drive Execution: Help deliver results through cross-team coordination of work, helping PXE and engineering teams to understand their requirements and execute them in a timely manner. Maintain Solid Operations: Develop and drive operational rigor amongst the Engineering and PXE teams with regards to programs. Reduce Duplication of Effort: As TPMs, we find efficiencies where we can to reduce work through automation, regular libraries, or other creative tooling to reduce the cost of a project or program. Educate and Support: We act as a central point of contact for our programs and help drive education and support through documentation, office hours, tech talks and so on Lead Projects: Oversee major technical and product-focused programs, ensuring their successful execution. Define Requirements: Develop multi-quarter plans for programs and projects, ensuring they're aligned with company goals. Drive Visibility and Alignment: Establish mechanisms to keep all cross-engineering initiatives visible and aligned.
