About The Role
As a Quality Test Engineer III, you will play a key role in transforming manual testing processes into scalable automated testing solutions for a Cirium project. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive quality, improve reliability, and support the delivery of high-quality customer-focused products. This position offers the opportunity to lead testing initiatives, contribute to engineering excellence, and adopt modern technologies and AI tools in day-to-day work.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of testing activities and work independently. Adopt and use AI tools in day-to-day work. Lead testing efforts with limited QA support within the team and drive automation initiatives.
- Help convert manual testing processes into automated testing solutions and support the reduction of dependency on manual testing.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and solution planning activities, Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code following engineering standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud-native deployment solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on code quality, operational excellence, security, scalability, and developer productivity.
- Review code changes, provide constructive feedback, and support engineering best practices across the team and mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing, technical coaching, and team development.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering practices, recommending improvements where appropriate.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in .NET/C# knowledge, because the development team primarily works in .NET.
- Experience with automation frameworks preferably Playwright or alternative Experience Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation experience who is willing to work with Playwright.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and Adopt to use AI tools in day-to-day work.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Experience with automated testing, code quality tools, application monitoring, and operational support with strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams.
