Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Quality Manager. The Quality Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing quality control processes, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous quality improvement across all manufacturing operations. Additional responsibilities include supervising quality assurance teams, ensuring customer requirements are met, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality management processes, quality control, and managing quality assurance teams
- Knowledge of compliance and industry standards related to pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and API plan products
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, problem-solving methods, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Awareness of safety regulations and practices in heavy fabrication and manufacturing
- Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting strict deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Certification in Quality Management Systems (such as ISO or Six Sigma) is a plus
