About the Company
Himachal Wire Industries Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of galvanized steel wire and wire products, supplying utilities, EPC contractors, infrastructure, telecom, railway, and industrial customers across India. We are expanding our operations and are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments.
Ensure compliance with IS standards, customer specifications, and ISO 9001 requirements.
Monitor incoming raw materials, in-process inspections, and final product quality.
Ensure testing and compliance for GI Wire, Stay Wire, Earth Wire, Barbed Wire, and Chain Link products.
Analyze quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Reduce customer complaints, internal rejections, and process variations.
Manage laboratory operations, testing equipment, and calibration schedules.
Coordinate customer inspections, third-party inspections, and quality audits.
Prepare and review test certificates, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
Work closely with Production, Planning, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
5–10 years of experience in Quality Management within steel, wire, galvanizing, or metal manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection techniques, and process control.
Experience with ISO 9001, quality audits, and customer inspections.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting.
