Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager for a full-time, on-site position located in Chakan. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance programs, establishing quality control measures, and ensuring products meet and exceed industry standards and customer expectations. The role includes conducting audits, developing quality improvement strategies, leading a motivated quality team, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems. Additionally, the Quality Manager will address customer concerns, implement corrective measures when needed, and liaise with cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, with experience in monitoring and improving product standards
- Experience with ISO certification processes, audit procedures, and compliance management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma methodology, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Educational background in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering is preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in quality-related tools and software would be an asset
