Role Description The Quality Line Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Pathankot. This position is responsible for inspecting weapons and components on the production line to ensure they meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting visual and dimensional inspections, verifying measurements using appropriate tools, and documenting inspection findings accurately. The role involves collaborating with production and quality teams to identify non-conformities, recommending corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Line Inspector also assists in maintaining inspection records, following standard operating procedures, and ensuring adherence to internal and external quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection, including visual checks, measurement verification, and defect identification.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with the ability to follow and support quality standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret inspection data, identify trends, and contribute to problem-solving on the production line.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering (or a similar discipline) is preferred.
- Experience in precision manufacturing, defence or engineering industries, and familiarity with inspection tools and gauges is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and commitment to safety and ethical standards.
