Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer specializing in Performance & Resilience Management, you demonstrate expertise in performance testing, load, scalability, networks, and infrastructure. You are responsible for designing, managing, and executing tests to ensure new and amended systems meet performance criteria and standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design Test Frameworks: Designing, managing, and executing tests using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure system performance meets criteria and standards.
- Develop Test Automation: Defining the test automation framework and utilizing performance tools to analyze results and resolve performance-related issues.
- Plan Test Designs: Planning and developing test designs to ensure effective performance testing and scalability analysis.
- Analyze Performance Results: Utilizing performance tools to analyze results, identify performance-related issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage Performance Standards: Ensuring that new and amended systems meet performance criteria and standards, and providing technical expertise in performance and resilience management.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Performance Testing Expertise: Experience with performance testing, load, scalability, networks, and infrastructure, demonstrating a deep understanding of performance criteria and standards.
- Test Automation Frameworks: Experience with defining and utilizing test automation frameworks to analyze results and resolve performance-related issues.
- Performance Tools Proficiency: Experience with performance tools to analyze results, identify performance-related issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Scalability Analysis: Experience with planning and developing test designs to ensure effective performance testing and scalability analysis.
- Performance Standards Management: Experience with ensuring that new and amended systems meet performance criteria and standards, providing technical expertise in performance and resilience management.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Performance Optimization Techniques: Experience with performance optimization techniques, including caching, content delivery networks, and database tuning, to improve system performance and resilience.
- Cloud-Based Performance Testing: Experience with cloud-based performance testing tools and platforms, such as AWS or Azure, to design and execute large-scale performance tests.
- Advanced Analytics Tools: Experience with advanced analytics tools, such as Splunk or ELK, to analyze performance data and identify trends and patterns.
