Ensuring Chart’s Success…
What Will You Do?
- Checking supplied parts, possibly at suppliers and processing measurement data and quality inspections.
- Assembly and final inspection inspection, both internally and at sub-suppliers.
- Supervising the proper execution of SOPs
- Performing checks according to QC plans.
- Advising on approval or rejection and remedial options (corrective measures)
- Advising on preventive measures.
- Assessing measurement reports, certificates, in doubtful cases checking measurements.
- If necessary, have destructive and/or non-destructive testing carried out.
- Technical guidance of customer inspectors, from home and abroad, during purchases.
- Reports in writing on abnormalities found, in doubtful cases on functional applicability, consults with the technical department, monitors the corrective handling, makes periodic evaluations and investigates trends.
- Manages relevant Standards and Logs QC.
- Keeps an effective and relevant administration with regard to the above activities
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
- FRP manufacturing facility in Chennai
Your Experience Should Be...
- Theory and practice of Fiber reinforced plastic molding & Inspection with basic mechanical engineering knowledge with 5+ years of experience in similar industry.
- Knowledge of assessment criteria regarding rework/repairs of mechanical & FRP parts
- Understanding the quality requirements set by customers and inspection bodies.
- the nature, application and functional functioning of the products.
- Knowledge in handling measuring tools and measurement methods to be used in manaufacturing FRP products.
- NDT - UT testing knowledge for FRP parts
- Basic understanding of drawings, relevant standards, fitting systems and shape and position tolerances.
- Rework & reinspection procedures
- Basic QMS and documentation knowledge
