Role Description
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer with a proven track record in high-rise residential and commercial building projects. The role requires a dynamic professional with strong expertise in
construction quality standards, QA/QC systems, and on-site quality control practices.
Position: Senior QA/QC Engineer
Location: Gurugram
Qualification: B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute
Experience: 8–10 years
Mode of Interview: Face-to-face
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Prepare, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and applicable IS codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections for RCC, finishing, waterproofing, and allied works to maintain quality standards.
- Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and technical documents before execution.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and third-party testing agencies for material testing and inspections.
- Maintain and control QA/QC documentation including MIRs, WIRs, checklists, NCRs, and corrective/preventive action reports.
- Identify non-conformities, implement corrective measures, and ensure timely closure.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits as required.
- Train and guide site engineers and supervisors on quality standards and best practices.
- Prepare quality reports and present updates to management on project quality performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proven experience as QA/QC Engineer in high-rise residential and commercial construction projects (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, quality inspection procedures, and material testing standards.
- Sound understanding of IS codes, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience in handling third-party inspections and quality audits.
- Experience in real estate/construction industry is essential.
- Ability to identify quality deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of QA/QC documentation systems is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Must be available for an immediate face-to-face interview.
