Role : Sr /Lead Python Automation

Position Overview
This role covers manual and automated testing (Selenium-Python), including both functional and performance tests. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to improve product quality, stability, reliability, and usability. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, analyzing results, and identifying defects throughout the development process. If you can drive efficient, innovative projects and excel in test automation and performance testing, this position is for you.
Responsibilities :
- Test desktop and web applications as a Software Developer in Test.
- Understand business goals and user stories.
- Plan and estimate testing with the team to meet requirements.
- Collaborate for implementation details and full test coverage.
- Write automated tests using Python and Selenium within the test framework.
- Develop automation code and review teammates’ work.
- Run automation on required infrastructure; perform manual tests when needed.
- Conduct non-functional testing and mitigate technical risks.
- Oversee end-to-end feature testing, including UAT.
- Work with technical staff on deploying Automation Testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and execute test plans for new and existing features.
- Keep automation adaptable for continuous integration/deployment.
- Establish methods for test data generation and refresh.
- Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and actively engage in various Agile team meeting.
Minimum Qualifications :
- 5+ years of Software Testing and Test Automation experience including hands-on experience enhancing and maintaining automation framework, manual testing
- Strong technical expertise in test automation for web-based applications. Must have hands-on experience with Python, Selenium.
- Good to have – Hands-on experience or familiarity with Playwright using Java script
- Proven track record of value adds to the Product/Solutions through strong QA processes
- Ability to lead through individual contribution in testing
- Strong experience in manual testing and test automation methodologies
- Experience in non-functional testing such as performance, API, security testing
- Experience in Agile development environment
