About The Role
Job Summary
The Quality Engineer is responsible for applying practical knowledge to ensure that manufacturing processes and outputs meet quality standards. This includes auditing, monitoring, and troubleshooting deviations in production.
This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.
This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large organization. Key Responsibilities Define and implement quality standards and procedures. Audit manufacturing processes and outputs. Investigate and resolve product quality issues. Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality initiatives. Skills & Qualifications Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least 3–4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role. Required Skills: Proficiency in quality engineering tools and methodologies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience in manufacturing environments. Effective communication and documentation. Knowledge of ISO and regulatory compliance.
