Role Description The Quality Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of Spydra’s APIs, developer tools, and platform features. Day-to-day tasks include performing functional and non-functional testing, analyzing defects, collaborating with engineering and product teams to resolve issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of quality processes. The Quality Engineer will also help define quality standards, create test documentation, monitor product quality metrics, and support release cycles to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Engineering skills, including test design, automation, and validation of complex software systems.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices to systematically verify and validate product functionality.
- Ability to manage Product Quality, focusing on reliability, performance, and user experience across releases.
- Knowledge of Quality Management principles, including process improvement, metrics tracking, and compliance with standards.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools, test automation frameworks, and defect tracking systems.
- Understanding of blockchain or distributed systems concepts is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
