Requirements
- 6 - 8 years QA / QE experience preferably eCommerce domain (SalesForce Commerce Cloud experience is a plus) and Web Application (Adobe Experience Manager is a plus)
- Core technical skills - Java, Selenium automation testing , REST API, REST assured (API Automation Testing), Postman, Swagger, Mongo DB
- Experience handling both Functional QA and Automation activities
- Good understanding of Jenkins or any other CI/CD tool
- Should be able to work on / support multiple eCommerce, Web Application applications and Services at any given time
- Strong understanding of Release process, product testing experience, knowledge of scrum / Agile process to estimate the work effort, bug life cycle – severity vs priority , Integration testing and System testing
- Ability to work with minimum guidance and should understand the large picture of releases and business goals. Should be able to prioritize work, play a gatekeeper role from QA perspective.
- Should be hands-on & capable of managing self & coordinate with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute QA / QE approach and strategy at a project / team level
- Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to execute integration & end-to-end tests
- Review team’s test scenarios, own build & release processes
- Create Gherkin/Test cases, Execution of tests, Build Test summary/Test Reports , track bugs, perform functional testing, integration and end to end testing
- Automate Gherkin/Test cases using - Selenium, Java, TestNG
- Perform Backend testing - API /REST Testing. Should have worked with Postman, swagger. Automate API tests using REST Assured
- Maintain QA automation script with source control system - Bitbucket or GitHub, should be well versed with resolving GIT conflicts etc.,
- Agile / Scrum Team specific:
- Create QA Task in Jira, Bug Logging in tools like Jira
- Attend daily stand-up , participate in scrum ceremonies
- Estimate QA/QE effort / capacity during sprint & release planning
