Role Description This is a full-time Quality Engineer role based in the Pune District with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility. The Quality Engineer will oversee quality standards across construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry codes, and client specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing quality plans, conducting inspections and audits, monitoring materials and workmanship, and documenting non-conformities with corrective and preventive actions. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes. The Quality Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, maintain quality records, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering and Quality Management, with the ability to design and implement project-specific quality frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in Quality Control activities, including inspections, testing, and verification of construction materials and site work.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance practices to establish standards, procedures, and audits that ensure consistent product and service quality.
- Ability to assess and maintain Product Quality across diverse infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory norms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or certifications in quality (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and proficiency in using quality documentation, checklists, and reporting tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a hybrid work environment.
