Job Title: Quality Inspection Engineer – Incoming & Final Inspection (Esbee Electrotech LLP)
Location: Pune, India
Employment Type: Full-time
Esbee Electrotech LLP is looking for two Quality Inspection Engineers to join our quality assurance team in Pune.
Position 1 – Incoming Quality Engineer
Experience: 3–5 years
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform incoming material inspection as per drawings and quality standards.
2. Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of supplied parts.
3. Operate measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height gauge, etc.).
4. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain IQC records.
5. Handle rejection processes, coordinate with suppliers, and manage supplier quality improvement initiatives.
6. Verify test reports and quality documents; ensure proper packing quality before shipment.
7. Maintain OQC records and support supplier audits.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Drawing reading & GD&T expertise.
- Handling measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height gauge, etc.).
- Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance procedures.
- Root‑cause analysis & problem‑solving skills.
- Basic Excel & ERP system proficiency.
- Strong communication skills for supplier interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in plastic moulding processes.
- Proven track record in managing supplier quality programs.
Position 2 – Final Inspection Engineer
Experience: 1–2 years
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform final inspection of finished goods before dispatch.
2. Conduct dimensional and visual inspections as per drawings.
3. Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
4. Prepare and maintain inspection reports.
5. Identify defects, coordinate rework, and verify packing quality before shipment.
6. Follow quality procedures and standards throughout the inspection process.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Basic drawing reading ability.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.).
- Basic understanding of GD&T (preferred).
- MS Excel skills for report generation.
- Good observation, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
- Exposure to quality assurance systems and ISO standards.
