Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 1–4 years of experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, reliability, and compliance with HiRel standards while working closely with internal teams and subcontractors. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of device physics, quality assurance processes, and reliability engineering practices.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor quality assurance activities for semiconductor devices and electronic components.
- Support HiRel and reliability testing activities and analyze test results.
- Develop, implement, and maintain sampling plans and quality control procedures.
- Investigate product failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective/preventive actions.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to improve product quality and reliability.
- Review manufacturing and testing processes to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
- Prepare quality reports, documentation, and audit records.
- Ensure continuous improvement initiatives for quality and process enhancement.
Requirements:
- B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
- Good understanding of HiRel standards and reliability engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of sampling plans, quality assurance methodologies, and statistical quality tools.
- Understanding of semiconductor device physics and failure mechanisms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with reliability testing, QA documentation, and process audits is preferred.
