Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Product Line Engines team. The candidate will be responsible for inspection and quality assurance activities related to purchased parts and components, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
The role requires close coordination with procurement, engineering, production teams, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure timely inspection clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate and final inspection of purchased components as per drawings, ITP, and quality guidelines
- Handle supplier quality inspection activities and dispatch clearance
- Create and manage F2 notifications in SAP
- Handle non-conformities and corrective action follow-up
- Perform inspection using precision measuring instruments
- Support welding parts inspection activities
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and corrective action documentation
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, engineering, and production teams for quality-related issues
- Support NDT activities whenever required
- Ensure workplace compliance with 5S and operational excellence standards
Required Skills
- Knowledge of CMM operation and inspection
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments
- Welding inspection knowledge
- Good understanding of quality systems and quality guidelines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Technical problem-solving capability
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools
- Self-organized and proactive approach

Desired Candidate Profile
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Supplier Quality / Quality Inspection
- Strong knowledge of inspection standards and quality processes
- Certified Level II Inspector for NDT qualification preferred
- Self-driven and flexible attitude
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers
