Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, you will enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites, creating automation strategies, and developing automated scripts. You will also support data and environment configuration, participate in code reviews, and monitor and report defects to facilitate continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the quality of applications meets the highest standards throughout their lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing practices.
- Thorough understanding of selenium robot with python/playwright and framework associated – BDD.
- Ability to write test script in selenium python and robot framework is must. (Not looking for functional tester) Must have API automation and CICD skills- especially GitLab CICD.
- Experience in SAFe/SCRUM agile must.
- Test Concepts, Test Specification development, Requirements analysis and root cause analysis.
- Develop and communicate testing approach and present the plans to stakeholders.
- Should have strong communication and be able to liaise with stakeholders.
- Application performance testing using tools like Jmeter.
- Knowledge on Devops, DOCKER is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge on AWS is an added advantage. Should have strong knowledge on SQL and No SQL (Mongo DB) database.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
