Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. You engage in continuous testing activities focusing on security, application programming interfaces, and regression to ensure robust software quality. Your role includes developing automation strategies and scripts, managing data and environment configurations, and actively participating in code reviews. You also monitor and report defects, contributing to ongoing improvements in testing processes and overall product reliability, fostering a seamless integration within the project ecosystem.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality objectives with project goals.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members to enhance their understanding of quality assurance practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Document and communicate testing outcomes and insights to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages relevant to quality assurance.
- Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment environments to support automated testing.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Familiarity with security testing and API testing methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Skilled in configuring test environments and managing test data to simulate real-world scenarios.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
