Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Documentation Specialist located at our facility in Chakan. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing technical and quality documentation, reviewing and maintaining documentation, and preparing reports to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and standardize technical documentation, as well as applying analytical skills to continuously improve documentation processes and quality systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in heavy fabrication
- Proficiency in technical documentation, quality documentation, and documentation best practices
- Strong knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
- Act as or support the Management Representative (MR) for QMS activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 14001 standards quality management systems
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and technical writing
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve documentation accuracy and quality processes
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience in sheet metal or fabrication-based industries will be an added advantage
- Proficiency with documentation tools and relevant software.
