Content Quality Control Specialist (Allied Healthcare & Hospitality)
Role Title: Content Quality Control Specialist

Role Overview:
The Content Quality Control Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive quality assurance of academic content developed for Allied Healthcare and Hospitality education programmes. This includes textbooks, lecture scripts, presentations, case studies, and academic support materials.
This role is accountable for ensuring that all content is accurate, coherent, pedagogically sound, and aligned with curriculum objectives and institutional quality standards. The specialist will ensure logical continuity across chapters, conceptual consistency within the book, and clarity of academic communication suitable for healthcare and hospitality learners.
The role functions as a critical quality checkpoint prior to content approval and publication.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Content Quality Control
Perform detailed quality review of textbooks, modules, presentations, and academic documents
Ensure conceptual accuracy, academic correctness, and subject relevance
Verify that content meets programme standards for Allied Healthcare and Hospitality education
Identify and flag factual errors, inconsistencies, and conceptual gaps
2. Coherence and Logical Flow Assurance (Core Accountability)
Ensure coherence within chapters and across the entire book or module
Validate logical progression of topics, ensuring continuity and proper knowledge building
Check for consistency in terminology, definitions, and conceptual explanations
Ensure alignment between learning objectives, content, examples, and summaries
Identify redundancies, fragmentation, or disjointed sections
3. Curriculum and Pedagogical Alignment
Ensure content aligns with curriculum structure, unit breakdown, and learning outcomes
Verify pedagogical suitability for student learning levels
Ensure proper integration of case studies, examples, and applied learning components
Confirm completeness of academic components such as introductions, explanations, and summaries
4. Structural and Document Compliance
Ensure adherence to approved content templates and document standards
Validate formatting consistency across chapters and documents
Ensure uniform use of headings, structure, and academic formatting
Check completeness of all required content sections
5. QC Documentation and Tracking
Maintain QC trackers and document status logs
Provide structured feedback and actionable corrections to content creators
Track revisions and ensure closure of QC feedback
Maintain version control and audit trail of reviewed content
6. Cross-Document Consistency
Ensure consistency across textbooks, presentations, scripts, and supplementary materials
Validate alignment between textbook content and lecture material
Ensure uniformity of terminology across the programme

The Content Doc QC Specialist is accountable for ensuring that all academic content:
Meets organisational quality standards
Is academically accurate and coherent
Is structurally complete and pedagogically sound
Is aligned with curriculum and learning objectives
Is ready for final approval and publishing
Required Skills and Competencies:
Core Competencies
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong academic proofreading and content validation skills
Ability to evaluate coherence and conceptual flow in academic content
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Domain Understanding (Preferred)
Familiarity with Allied Healthcare education content
Familiarity with Hospitality education content
Understanding of academic curriculum structure
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Google Docs
Experience working with structured document templates
Ability to maintain QC trackers and documentation
Educational Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Hospitality, Education, English, or related field
Preferred:
Background in Allied Healthcare, Nursing, Life Sciences, or Hospitality Management
Experience Required:
1–3 years experience in content quality control, academic editing, or curriculum review
Preferred:
Experience reviewing textbooks or structured academic content
Experience working in education, publishing, healthcare training, or hospitality training
