Role Description The Quality Control Microbiologist will be responsible for performing routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, utilities, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves implementing and monitoring quality control procedures, maintaining detailed documentation, and collaborating with production and quality assurance teams to support continuous improvement in product safety and quality. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi, India, requiring adherence to safety practices and good laboratory practices.
Qualifications
- B.Sc /M.Sc in Microbiology from any reputed University.
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control skills, including familiarity with quality standards, documentation, and compliance processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Microbiology and Laboratory Skills, including media preparation, aseptic techniques, and microbiological testing methods.
- Candidates should possess proficient Analytical Skills to interpret test results, identify trends, and support root-cause analysis.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Laboratory Equipment, including operation, calibration, and basic maintenance of microbiology instruments.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences field.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and applicable regulatory guidelines in food and agri or related industries.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
