QC Manager (Quality Control) Job Description

Role Overview:
We are hiring a QC Manager to lead quality control across operations and call centre teams. The role focuses on report quality, TAT adherence, and improving customer experience through audits and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Operations
• Scrutiny and uploading of medical reports based on QC checklist
• Follow-up with diagnostic centres for reports
• Handle report-related grievances
• Ensure timely dispatch of reports
• Update medical status (Show / No-Show)
• Share daily status updates with Status Team
• Close corporate queries within TAT
• Ensure monthly TAT targets are met
QA & Call Audit Management
• Manage QA team and audit processes
• Conduct regular call audits
• Identify gaps and improvement areas
• Provide feedback and coaching
• Publish audit reports and insights
• Drive continuous quality improvements Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate with Call Centre, QC, Billing, and Branch teams
• Ensure smooth query resolution
• Manage and mentor
QA/QC team Key Accountabilities
• Maintain high report accuracy
• Ensure TAT and quality adherence
• Improve call quality scores
• Reduce errors and escalations
• Drive team performance Skills
Knowledge & Qualifications
• Graduate/Post Graduate with 4–6 years experience
• Experience in QA handling and call audits
• Knowledge of Insurance/Healthcare operations
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical and team management skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management
