ABOUT US
Anmolveda Wellness is a GMP, ISO, and NABL-certified Ayurvedic contract manufacturer based in New Delhi. We manufacture Shilajit resin, honey stick formulations, Ashwagandha and herbal blends, syrups, capsules, and churans for B2B brand partners across India. We are scaling quickly and building our internal quality systems from the ground up.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are hiring a Quality Control Lead to take full ownership of product quality on our production floor. This is a hands-on, floor-based role — not a desk-based reporting function. You will be present for every batch, responsible for ensuring production is executed correctly and on time, and for holding the line on product quality before anything is released for dispatch.
You will be the first and founding member of this function at Anmolveda, with the mandate to build the quality systems — not simply follow ones that already exist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain physical presence on the production floor for every batch run
- Create, maintain, and enforce Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Master Formula Records (MFR) for every product line
- Conduct in-process and finished product quality checks, and hold sign-off authority on batch release
- Inspect and clear incoming raw materials before they enter production
- Maintain same-day production documentation and filing — line clearance records, in-process logs, batch-wise notes
- Identify, document, investigate, and close quality deviations
- Manage Control sample storage and tracking per batch
- Coordinate with testing labs to ensure quality test results support timely batch release decisions
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–5 years of hands-on quality control experience in Ayurvedic, nutraceutical, or FMCG food manufacturing
- Demonstrated, practical experience creating and working with BMRs and MFRs
- Strong attention to detail and comfort holding a quality standard under production pressure
- Ability to work independently and build process as the first person in this function
- Clear, direct communication — comfortable raising issues early rather than after the fact
