In the fragrance segment, we cater to diverse categories such as hair care, fabric care, Cosmetics, Candle, Fine fragrances, personal care, personal wash, body care, home care and hygiene.
In the flavours, we cater to bakery, beverages, confectionery, oral care, dairy, seasonings, health and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and internal standards.
- Perform physical inspection, and basic analytical testing to detect deviations and non-conformities.
- Operate and handle analytical instruments such as GC, GC-MS (basic level), refractometer, pH meter, and weighing balance.
- Record, analyze, and report test results; ensure proper documentation and traceability of all QC activities.
- Identify quality deviations and support root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA).
- Ensure all organoleptic evaluations are carried out for raw materials and finished products, especially fragrance consistency.
- Maintain retain samples and assist in stability observation for fragrance and chemical products.
- Follow and support implementation of SOPs, GMP, and quality systems within the laboratory and production.
- Coordinate with production, QA, and purchase teams for quality-related issues and material approvals.
- Support development and updating of specifications, COA formats, and basic documentation.Ensure proper calibration and upkeep of laboratory instruments and maintain lab hygiene and safety.
. Required Abilities & Skill Sets:
- Basic understanding of fragrance / perfume raw materials, aroma chemicals, and blends.
- Ability to operate GC and interpret basic chromatograms (preferred).
- Knowledge of quality control processes, deviation handling, and CAPA.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or basic quality systems.
- Awareness of IFRA guidelines and REACH regulations is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with good documentation practices.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, reports, data recording).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Educational Background / Work Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry,Cosmetic Science, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in fragrance, cosmetics, or chemical industry.
