Job details:
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field
Location: Mumbai , Onshore & Offshore
Industry: Fabrication & Erection Installation Jobs of Structural and Piping in Onshore / Offshore Oil & Gas Industries.
The candidate will be required to work offshore when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of reports and final dossier
- Perform inspection activities at the workshop
- Conduct quality inspections and tests on products/materials
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Identify defects and perform root cause analysis
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain quality documentation and reports
- Coordinate with production teams to improve processes
- Coordinate with Third Party Inspection Agency & Client
- Prepare and review QAP, Inspection Test Plan, WPS/PQR/WPQR, QC procedures, and relevant QC documents.
Requirements:
- To be qualified in NDT ASNT L2 or PCN Level 2
- Hands on experience in performing NDT Testing like PT, MT , UT & RT
- Knowledge of quality control System & Procedures
- Familiarity with ISO standards
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Should have good knowledge of welding and fabrication activities
- Able to perform basic welding and painting inspection activities.
- Having prior offshore visits is an added advantage.
