Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Control Engineer based in Gandhinagar. The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for inspecting and testing instruments, components, and finished products to ensure they meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include developing and implementing quality control procedures, analyzing test data, identifying non-conformities, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The role involves close collaboration with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Control Engineer will also assist in internal audits, calibration checks, and training team members on quality practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with experience in inspection, testing, and documentation.
- Analytical skills for data analysis, root-cause identification, and problem-solving in manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Quality Management skills, including understanding of quality standards, process improvement, and audit support.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and preparing clear reports.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with testing and measuring instruments, preferably in transformer, motor, pump, or LED testing.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use measurement tools, and work with standard testing procedures.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing setting.
