Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Engineer located in Coimbatore. The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for conducting quality assurance tests, developing and implementing quality management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and analyzing data to improve product quality. Daily tasks include inspecting products, identifying defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating reports, and ensuring adherence to company quality policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
- Proficient in Analytical Skills to evaluate data and identify patterns
- Knowledge in Quality Management systems and industry compliance standards
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in machining, metal fabrication, or similar industry is an advantage
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma, is a plus
