About NPS
NPS specialises in the manufacturing of high-quality refrigerant cans used for HVAC and refrigeration applications. Our focus is on precision manufacturing, product reliability, and maintaining the highest quality standards in metal packaging for refrigerant gases.
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to oversee product quality and ensure that all refrigerant cans meet required technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of metal cans and components
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing specifications
• Monitor production processes to maintain consistent product quality
• Perform dimensional checks and visual inspections of formed metal components
• Identify defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with production teams to improve manufacturing quality and reduce defects
• Support quality audits and implement continuous improvement practices
Required Qualifications
• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality control (metal, packaging, sheet metal, or similar industry preferred)
• Knowledge of inspection tools and quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work closely with production and engineering teams
Preferred Experience
• Experience in metal forming, aerosol cans, sheet metal, or packaging manufacturing
• Knowledge of quality inspection methods and documentation
