One of our well-known TIC Service company is hiring for QC Engineering - EIT(Offshore) Please find the below details
The QC (Quality Control) Engineer – EIT (Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecom) is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards across offshore wind farm or oil & gas projects. This includes planning, monitoring, and verifying that all electrical and instrumentation works meet international codes, client specifications, and safety standards.

- Location: Mumbai (with offshore/site travel)
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Planning: Develop and implement the project’s Quality Plan, procedures, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Inspection & Testing: Perform and supervise inspections on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems during fabrication, installation, and commissioning—both onshore and offshore.
- Compliance Monitoring: Verify that materials, equipment, and construction meet project specifications, European/IEC codes, and client standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Reports (CARs), and maintain updated quality documentation for audits.
- Coordination: Work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to resolve quality issues and support project handover.
- Auditing: Conduct internal and external quality audits to evaluate compliance and continuous improvement.
- Vendor/Subcontractor Management: Ensure vendors follow established quality controls, especially during equipment manufacturing and assembly.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Experience: 8–15 years in quality control for offshore wind or oil & gas projects, with strong exposure to E&I systems.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with European and international codes (such as ISO, IEC, DNV, API).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of offshore project construction (jackets, topsides, control systems).
- Leadership and coordination of QC inspectors or third-party teams.
- Strong documentation and analytical problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and reporting skills for client and internal correspondence.
