Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Engineer based in Kolkata. The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, performing quality inspections on components and assemblies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Daily tasks include conducting quality assessments, identifying and resolving quality-related issues, analyzing production data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize quality management procedures. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining and enhancing product reliability and consistency.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills and problem-solving methodologies
- Understanding and knowledge of Quality Management systems and best practices
- Excellent Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting
- Experience with manufacturing processes in Railways or Aerospace is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
