Role Description The Quality Control Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jalandhar I. In this role, the engineer will conduct routine inspections and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. Responsibilities include documenting inspection results, identifying and reporting nonconformities, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. The Quality Control Engineer will develop and maintain quality control procedures, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in root cause analysis for quality-related issues. The role also involves preparing quality reports, participating in audits, and promoting a culture of quality and safety on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including experience with inspection methods, testing procedures, and documenting nonconformities.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Quality Management capabilities to interpret data, monitor process performance, and support continuous improvement.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, prepare clear reports, and discuss quality findings with stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related technical field) are beneficial.
- Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards, knowledge of basic statistical quality tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
