URGENT POSITION TO BE FILLED – Vasai East, MH
NOTE: Candidates should be located near Vasai East / Western Line / Mira Road / Bhayandar / Vasai / Virar / Naigaon / Borivali side or more nearby areas who can commute daily.
Salary: 5.50 to 6 LPA [MAX]
Non-Negotiable:
- Candidates should comfortable with 10-hour duty schedule
- Candidate must have strong leadership and team handling ability
- Must be capable of independently leading the design department
- Pharma/tooling industry experience is highly preferred
- Practical manufacturing exposure is important, not only software knowledge
Required Skills:
- Mandatory Qualification: B.Tech / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Preferred: Additional certification in .
- Minimum 3+ years mandatory in Quality Control within manufacturing/shop floor environment.
- Quality Control Management – End-to-end QC department handling in manufacturing/shop floor environment.
- Precision Measurement Instruments Handling (Hands-on experience with Vernier Calliper, Micrometre, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, Hardness Tester, Surface Roughness Tester, and CMM)
- Inspection & Testing (Incoming inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, dimensional accuracy checking as per engineering drawings)
- SOP & QC Documentation (Preparing and maintaining SOPs, inspection reports, calibration records, CAPA, quality documentation)
- ISO / GMP Compliance (Knowledge and implementation of ISO standards, GMP compliance, audit preparation and quality systems)
- Quality Audits (Internal audit handling, external/customer audit coordination, compliance management)
- Rejection & Rework Reduction (Root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, process improvement mindset)
- Leadership & Team Management (Managing QC Inspectors/Engineers, task allocation, training, performance monitoring)
- Engineering Drawing Interpretation (Reading mechanical drawings, tolerances, punch & die dimensional verification)
- Cross-Functional Coordination (Coordination with Production, Design, and Maintenance teams in manufacturing setup)
Bonus Skills [preferred]:
- Team handling or leadership exposure.
- Quality Management, ISO Internal Auditor, Six Sigma, TQM, or related quality certifications
- Experience in precision engineering, tooling, punches & dies, metal/manufacturing industries preferred.
- Exposure to QC documentation, audits, and process quality systems.
Description:
We are specifically looking for a hands-on min 3+ years of QC Head who can independently manage the entire Quality Control department in a manufacturing environment. The candidate must have strong practical knowledge of precision measuring instruments, inspection processes, ISO/GMP documentation, and audit handling. Leadership ability is extremely important because the person will lead QC inspectors and engineers. The client strongly prefers candidates staying near Vasai East or nearby western/central Mumbai suburbs to ensure smooth daily commuting and long-term stability.
