Role Description The Quality Control Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Nelamangala. The role involves performing routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products using appropriate laboratory methods and equipment. The analyst will review and document test results, ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, and support investigations for out-of-specification or non-conforming results. Daily responsibilities include maintaining laboratory records, calibrating and verifying instruments, preparing reagents and standards, and collaborating with Quality Assurance and production teams to resolve quality issues. The role also requires contributing to continuous improvement of testing procedures and supporting internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control expertise, including routine testing, sampling procedures, and documentation practices.
- Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, method execution, and safe handling of chemicals.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Laboratory Equipment, such as balances, pH meters, HPLC/GC, and other relevant instruments.
- Candidates should possess Quality Assurance knowledge, including GMP principles, SOP adherence, and regulatory compliance.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing and testing environments is an advantage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and strong organizational skills.
- Comfort with using basic computer applications and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is beneficial.
